Prudential Hickory Metro Real Estate, which is independently owned and operated, became an affiliate of the Prudential Real Estate Network in 1990.  Formerly Shook & Tarlton, founded in 1960 and Hedrick-Mitchell Real Estate, founded in 1976 merged  to form Prudential Hickory Metro Real Estate, Inc.  We have been one of the leaders in the real estate business for over 49 years.

Bonnie began her Real Estate career in Fayetteville, NC and has been active in sales and company management for almost 37 years.  She is married to Ed Mitchell (retired from GE).  Bonnie has special experience in Corporate Relocation after moving 14 times!  She moved with her family to Hickory in 1972 and worked with Warlick & Hewitt Realty.  Bonnie started her own company, Hedrick-Mitchell Real Estate, in 1976.  She operated the company for 23 years and then merged with Shook & Tarlton in 1998; forming Prudential Hickory Metro Real Estate.  

Bonnie has two children and seven grandchildren.

Bonnie's son Mark Mitchell followed in her footsteps and has been selling real estate with the company since 1990.  Mark is also the Sales Manager for Prudential Hickory Metro Real Estate.

Her daughter, Michelle Mitchell-Impagliazzo, has just recently joined the company as an agent, after owning her own catering business with her husband for 12 years.
